Clik here to view.A 144-acre ranch outside of Boulder, Colo., is on the market for $16.9 million. Located in Longmont, about 20 minutes from downtown Boulder, 4 Rockin’ G Ranch has a 10,600-square-foot European-style main home with four bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and two half-baths. There’s a 225-bottle-capacity wine cellar, a game room with hidden access through a bookshelf, a theatre room, and a gym. The property includes an Olympic-size riding ring, 12-horse stables, a saltwater swimming pool, volleyball court, and outdoor bar. There’s also a one-bedroom guest cottage, four-bedroom guesthouse and a 5,275-square-foot caretaker’s home. The sellers bought the property for $1.325 million in 2002 under Caw De Rado LLC, according to public records. The owner, who is a venture capitalist, is selling because he and his wife are ready to downsize, says listing agent Bill Fandel of Telluride Sotheby’s International Realty. Mr. Fandel says the current owners put “well over $12 million” into residential and infrastructure improvements including building the main home. Mr. Fandel shares the listing with James Simpson, of Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty in Boulder. View the Wall Street Journal article online here.
